What you can notice

  • Official warning from the Autorité des marchés financiers (Quebec) naming Renovae, dated 24 August 2026, as published through IOSCO's I-SCAN alerts.
  • On 11 October 2026 the domain served "Website Takedown Notice": the site had been taken down by Lovable's Trust & Safety team.
  • The same takedown notice, on the same platform, was found the same day on stanlakegroup.co.uk, another investment firm warned by a regulator (see SA-064).

The takeaway

A professional-looking investment website can be built in an afternoon with an AI website builder. Before you send money, look the firm up in your own country's financial regulator register, and treat a site that disappears behind a platform's takedown notice as a warning about every other site run by the same people.

What the source reports

Desenmascara publishes renovae.app as Fraudulent: the attributed regulator warning is corroborated by the hosting platform's own abuse takedown. The takedown notice is Lovable's, captured by Desenmascara on 11 October 2026. Follow the report for the full record and any later correction.

What this evidence cannot tell us

This case documents a regulator's public warning and the hosting platform's takedown notice; it is not an independent investigation by this project. The capture shows the takedown notice, not the original site. A regulator's "unauthorised" warning concerns licensing in that jurisdiction and does not by itself prove fraud, customer losses or operator identity. The platform does not publish why it removed the site. If either source withdraws its notice, this case is withdrawn too.
